Administrative Professional

 

SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES: NONE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
  • Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates and schedules.
  • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High School or equivalent required.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

  • Associate degree in related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in related role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial.
  • Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential.
  • Sitting for extended periods is common.
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
    Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, handheld devices, copy machine, and computer printer, and operate and monitor various medical equipment.
  • Must be able to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks.
  • No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally required.
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.

Senior Planner & Scheduler

 

SUMMARY

The Senior Planner is responsible for working closely with our management, sales, and manufacturing teams. The ability to prioritize, problem solve and follow direction with minimal supervision, while meeting customer deadlines are key components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
  • Communicate with Sales and Customers to facilitate communication to production group
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a challenging environment
  • Work closely with internal departments to meet our customers’ needs
  • Monitor on time delivery of foreign purchase orders
  • Strong flexibility required as other duties may be assigned and work schedules may be changed toaccommodate business needs.
  • Schedules batches based on different types of demand
  • Maintains and updates Production Schedule frequently
  • Ability to analyze Forecast information and integrate into production schedule
  • Analyze production capacity and work closely with management to find ways to expand or grow

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Extremely reliable
  • Planning and Scheduling Experience
  • Experience servicing customers
  • Ability to be flexible and innovative
  • Purchasing experience
  • Ability to work within a team environment and on an individual basis
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask with frequent interruptions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous manufacturing experience in scheduling
  • Bachelors’ degree is required for this role, or the equivalent combination of education, training, andwork experience.
