Mark Weisheit is an experienced commercial leader who specializes in integrating and growing acquired businesses for industrial Japanese companies. Having recently served as an Advisor to Marubeni Itochu, he helped to lead U.S. expansions into the Industrial & Agricultural Equipment, Data Center, and Power Generation spaces. As a member of Nidec Corporation’s Business Development team, he participated in dozens of acquisition projects and lead the integration of businesses located in Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, Akron, Italy, and France.
Prior to those assignments, Mark built a track record of success in both Sales and Procurement in the Steel and Electromagnetic Machinery (motor, generator, transformer) spaces; leveraging small centralized teams and multi-year Agreements to stabilize profitability and grow share. Known for a leadership style that emphasizes integrity, small focused teams, and personnel development, Mark believes that the key to long-term business success is consistently creating opportunities for every member of the team.
Mark holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, and did his post-grad work at St. Louis University’s Cook School of Business. Outside of the office, he and his wife participate on Advisory Boards, raise funding for Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, volunteer with the Wounded Warrior Project and regional nursing homes and enjoy hunting, fishing, Cardinals baseball, and BBQ.
